Sunday Morning… the birds are chirping, the sun is rising, and my heart is happy editing Codee & Kaylie’s engagement session in Shepherdstown WV from a couple days ago!

These two are so down right adorable, you can’t help but feel their joy and love in their images! I had such a great time with them during their engagement shoot. They are undeniably happy, and all it takes for them to smile or laugh is to look into each other’s eyes!

Even though I get to know my couples during the engagement session, I always send over a questionnaire to ask more in depth questions so I can really understand their love story and life. Well as I was reading their answers, one in particular hit pretty close to home… their proposal. Code asked her father’s permission and later would, spur of the moment, pop the question in their kitchen!

Not only was I proposed to after a dance in the kitchen (it’s my hubby & I’s thing!), my dad told my mom he was going to marry her one day as she was standing in his kitchen years and years and years ago! lol So kitchens are important in my family! 🙂

Codee & Kaylie did amazing during their session! Codee was all too happy to make Kaylie laugh and was a great daddy carefully holding his 6 week old daughter. Kaylie is such a beautiful momma and you can tell that those girls (and Codee) are her world!

And I want to say that their daughters… oh. my. goodness… SO adorable!!! And so full of personality!

Kaylie & Codee, you both are blessed with a beautiful family and a beautiful love for one another. I cannot wait to see you two tie the knot on your wedding day! Love & Happiness to you both!!
