Kyle & Aubrey lucked out for their engagement session in Shepherdstown, WV! The weather was absolutely gorgeous and the fall colors were stunning!

As beautiful as fall photo shoots are you always run the chance of taking photos on a warm mid-60’s day with beautiful foliage OR a blustery high-30’s day with grey sky and green leaves/no leaves!

We started our session at the Rumsey Monument a little before sunset and were able to really take advantage of the colors at the park and the view of the trees along the canal.

These two were so easy to pose and had such fun-loving personalities!

Both Kyle & Aubrey attended Shepherd University, so when we headed into town, and I saw the brilliant yellow Maple tree outside of White Hall, we just had to stop!

Pretty sure they never danced on the lawn outside of one of their educational buildings, but hey, life is about having fun, right? 🙂

Then just like a scene from a movie, the wind blew and leaves fell and surrounded them as Kyle twirled her around. I was in heaven when I saw it happening! lol So of course that image was the first of their sneak peeks the other day!

After an outfit change, we continued our walk through town chatting about Halloween and Christmas. (because Thanksgiving is always overlooked, right?!) Then as the light started to fade fast, the lights from the restaurants, shops, and passing vehicles gave a different ambiance to their images.

I had SUCH a great time with these two and cannot wait to photograph them again in September!
