I was back at The Barns at Maple Valley Farm, WV for Joe & Katie’s wedding this past Saturday. Two wedding weekends in a row at The Barns and the days were polar opposites weather-wise! 

Last Saturday was a cooler, cloudy, pop-up shower type of day, and this past Saturday…. full sun and humid, oh was it humid!

But nobody let that put a damper on the day!! Oh no, Joe, Katie, and their family and friends were there to celebrate! As the maid of honor said in her speech… “it was about damn time!” 🙂

The whole day was very relaxed and laid back. Joe & Katie had their first look out in an empty horse field and they were so adorable! They both are joyfully in love and it shows!

We had plenty of portrait time, so we all took a ride on the new bridal wagon at The Barns. When I say we all, I mean Katie, Joe, and their posse of photographers and videographers!

The ceremony was lovely as the horses gathered behind the arch to witness the crowd of people and snort their congratulations to the newlyweds. 

Later, Joe & Katie snuck away during the reception for a few sunset glow portraits (always a great decision!!! There is something about the evening glow that is so magical!) 

Joe & Katie I wish you both a lifetime of laughter and happiness!! Thank you both for a wonderful day!
